• IT security audits • IT forensics • Archiving of all network activity
Nick Lewis, country manager for Wallix UK explains, " Logs, and their associated management, have two key problems: few solutions deliver reporting detailed and comprehensive enough to be used efficiently in an IT auditing process, and most solutions are both too complex and too expensive. Wallix solves these problems by natively integrating reporting features in its solution, by using agentless technology for easy deployment and management and by offering the most aggressive pricing in the market. This combination makes Wallix LogBox the best return on investment solution for log management and analysis." Wallix with these new appliances is looking to bring this capability to a much wider audience through its simplified approach and attractive pricing” Wallix LogBox 3.0 natively integrates reporting templates, exportable in both pdf and HTML formats, that detail the activity of security devices including: - Firewalls - Web servers - Web proxies Syslog data Six reporting templates are available on three specific time ranges: daily, weekly and user-defined. This gives the administrator precise, real-time visibility of all security devices, vital for the continuity of network services. In the case of a malfunction or breakdown, an appropriate response can be taken easily and rapidly.
In terms of performances, Wallix LogBox integrates a 1.7 terabyte hard disk, able to record up to 2 billion log lines, dedicated to the archiving and sorting of logs. It's real-time alerts feature offers two configuration options:
